The past 3 weeks in the life of social skills summer session group! We have worked and will continue to work on so many emotions like anger, grumpiness, confused, silly and soon to be happiness next week! This summer has been a great way for the kids to work on exposure to different breakfast and lunch foods, in addition to social skills that are struggles for them. So proud of our kids, staff and progress. Our last week will be next week and then social skills will resume on Saturdays from 9-12 after Labor Day! See you soon😊

Summer Social Skills group has started and here is to week two! Last week was excited and this week we are exploring anger, a summer of emotional learning is in store.

Overall Autism Awareness Month has been a month we’re our kiddos have learned more about themselves, emotions, and the world around them. So proud of their progress and our staff that make all we do possible!

We finished our farm animals for our bulletin board.
It was great team work: we used our listening ears to follow oral directions, we worked on cutting and pasting skills, as well as sharing, and some imagination!
