Ann Sloan has been volunteering at Mount St. Rita since 2002. She drives to the Mount every Friday to give communion to our residents who can't get to mass. Ann brings her quiet, genuine kindness to us and we appreciate it more than she knows! Ann did her novitiate at the Mount when she was a young girl, then going to Belize to do mission work where she became ill and eventually had to leave the Sisters of Mercy. She continued her education and earned her degree and went on to teach school in Warwick for 48 years. Ann is so dedicated driving from Warwick every week. Rain, sleet, snow or hail, she arrives with her smile and grace. Thank you Ann for all the years of your dedication to the Mount. You are what makes Mount St. Rita a special place🩷
