Major is a 9 month old border collie who has been a little nervous when he comes to see the doctor. We recommended happy visits to allow us to form a bond with him outside of routine or sick visits. After a couple of months, he now gets so excited to roam around the clinic and get snuggles and treats! We love getting to see him and are so glad his happy visits have been helping! 🥰

The vet can be scary, and our goal is to make your pet as comfortable as possible so that fear does not worsen or escalate into aggression. Sometimes that means postponing what we had planned for the day to try again with some calming medications on board, or schedule some happy visits to help their confidence! ❤️

As the 4th of July is approaching, we wanted to remind you all that we will be closed on Friday for the holiday. With that being said, please do not forget to come by and get your pets medications refilled before the fireworks! Even if your pet does not typically react to fireworks, we recommend they be kept indoors during the festivities so they do not get spooked and run off! We hope you all have a fun, and safe, holiday weekend!! 🤗🎆🥳
