As moms, we have to first and foremost take control of own health and well-being - we can then have a positive impact on the whole household. I teach moms on how to implement positive food choices (paleo/real foods template), improve sleep, maximize workouts/exercise, mitigate EMFs and toxins in the house, get back in touch with nature, reduce stress/anxiety and develop a positive mindset. I offer proven techniques and simple ways to make these changes in our modern world (without feeling deprived or overwhelmed). Changes can be made slowly over time or in a quicker time period if desired - it’s all very individual!
With over 54% of American children having at least one chronic condition, I am passionate about helping moms find lifestyle solutions that will work - where the health of the family improves and joy, vitality and peace in the home increases. I help individuals find their inner strength when implementing changes. Each step of the way I am here to support and offer guidance.
I also work with women who are looking to become pregnant. Ideally, I would like to work with someone 6-12 months before conception so that nutrient stores in the body are maximized, toxin levels are minimized and mindset is optimal.
I offer the following services:
One-On-One Coaching (8 week program)- This is for a mom (or mom-to-be) who wants personal and individualized coaching. 75 minute sessions will be weekly (either in person or remote via Zoom). Unlimited emails/texts. Access to the Facebook Brighter Days Health Coaching Group (no extra charge) for additional support and resources.
Small Group Coaching (8 week program)- I will educate and coach 2-4 moms during 75 minutes sessions either in person or remote via Zoom. I will do my best to group moms with similar circumstances/concerns/issues. Unlimited emails/texts. Access to the Facebook Brighter Days Health Coaching Group (no extra charge) for an additional level of support and resources. This is a great option for a mom who wants a personal approach at a lower price point.
Facebook Brighter Days Health Coaching Group - This coaching option allows moms to get to get their feet wet so to speak! I will do an initial 30 minute call with each participant (to get to know you, discuss the basics of the program, answer any questions, etc). This program will include at least one monthly 60 minute Zoom call where I cover an important health topic and take questions. I’ll provide 100s of kid-friendly recipes, help you deal with picky eating, give you tips on how to budget, plan meals, read ingredients (pantry purge help!), grocery shop and so much more on the topic of food. You’ll have resources and tools to assist you in making healthy choices each day. I will also cover toxicity (how to detox your home, personal care products, etc), detoxification, EMFs, blue light mitigation, the importance of nature and the sun, stress reduction techniques and mindset. A big advantage of this program is the built in support from other moms who are participating - my vision is to have a community where we all grow and learn from each other.
Individual Sessions (one-on-one) - While I encourage everyone to choose an 8-week program as it takes time to develop lifestyle changes and newly found positive habits, this option is also available. 75 minutes.
A little more about me......
I have been on this health journey now since 2009, when my son Samuel was given an initial high-functioning ASD diagnoses by his pediatrician. I know what it's like to deal with severe gut dysbiosis, sensory issues, OCD, tics, anxiety, sleep issues, eczema, food allergies, out-of-control yeast, mold, parasites, heavy metals, lyme and autoimmunity. Through many lifestyle changes, interventions and lots of trial and error, we have been able to greatly improve his health status. Samuel is now a very social, super smart, kind and thoughtful 13 y/o. He has taught me so much and is my inspiration (along with my daughter Emilia) for continuing to make the best daily choices for my family. And to help others do the same. It's an on-going journey for all of us.
After more than a decade of self-study (hundreds of books/thousands of podcasts - learning around the clock), I obtained my Health Coaching Certification from the Primal Health Coach Institute in early 2019. This program offers a great depth of science in regards to nutrition and exercise but also has a great focus on living as close to nature as possible - like we did long ago before all of the chronic disease began.
I do provide free phone consultations. I want moms to feel comfortable that I am the right person to guide them on this healing journey!
