This past weekend I got to listen to Dr. Scott Blumenthal, from the Texas Back institute. He is one of the godfathers of motion preservation in spine surgery through disc replacement surgery. He and his colleague, Dr. Jessica Shellock, did a wonderful job training spine surgeons on Activ-L, our lumbar disc replacement.
