Care Net Conference 2025! Care Net is a national network of pregnancy centers, and Whispering Hope is one of their affiliates. Since 2008, there have been 1,010,931 babies saved from abortion through the work of affiliated centers, and 2,124,931 moms and dads have heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We had the privilege of celebrating Care Net’s 50th anniversary at this year’s conference in Charlotte, North Carolina.

When Mama M and Mama K came into our home—12 and 9 months ago—the idea of pursuing an education was nowhere on their radar. At that time, our team tried everything we could to encourage them to go back to school. But it was too soon.

What they really needed was a safe place—a refuge to begin thawing emotionally, to start healing.

And so, we waited. We prayed. We held space. And in His perfect timing, the Lord did what only He can do—He convinced their hearts.

We simply came alongside them with encouragement and belief: “You can do this.”

Last week, Mama M completed her Certified Clinical Medical Assistant program and has entered her externship. Just three hours into her very first shift, she was offered a full-time position once her externship is complete!

Also last week, Mama K received word that she scored a 96 on her very first college final—earning an A in English 101!

“Taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in Him.” — Psalm 34:8

His water is soaking in. Our mamas and babies are flourishing. The goodness of God is on full display at Living Hope.

We are hiring House Parents! Whispering Hope is looking for a mission-minded, Christian couple to serve as House Parents for our maternity home, Living Hope. House Parents oversee the daily functions of the home while modeling a healthy marriage relationship and exemplifying the compassion of Christ for each mom and baby. Some of the duties include home and property maintenance, maintaining a household calendar and schedule, transporting residents as needed, overseeing the food budget and supply, conducting family devotionals, attending weekly team meetings, and planning fun, family activities. House Parents live in an onsite, furnished, one bedroom apartment. Utilities are included. There is a no pet policy. Benefits include PTO, HRA, Life, Dental, Vision, and a Simple IRA.
