Campbell Family Medicine Campbell Family Medicine is a membership-based "direct primary care" or concierge integrative medical practice.

Natural remedies and lifestyle medicine achieve root cause resolution of chronic illness and help prevent heart attack, stroke and dementia. Campbell Family Medicine opened its doors in 2005 to address the unmet health needs of Dr. Campbell's patients. Following the guidelines of the best experts in the field, we watched sadly as patients became heavier, sicker, and more diabetic. Hormone symptoms of pre-menopause were starting at age 35 - or even YOUNGER! Hypothyroid symptoms in the face of normal lab levels were becoming an everyday complaint! Digestive complaints and chronic disease were becoming more prevalent and the numbers of children diagnosed with ADHD and falling on the autism spectrum were exponentially rising. Using integrative and alternative medicine and the evidence based guidelines of functional medicine, we started to get to the root cause of many of our patients' symptoms. Food sensitivities, hormone imbalances, metal toxicity, and genetically determined defects in metabolism can be detected, treated and restored to a more physiologic balance. We use nutrition therapy, supplements, Bio-identical Hormone Replacement Therapy, vitamins (especially Vitamin D!), and more to help patients lose weight, normalize lipid and blood sugar levels, come off of maintenance medications and improve cognitive performance and energy levels. This weekend she celebrates her Medicare birthday … yup 65 !! so officially a senior citizen in the eyes of the federal government. Time to ask for more discounts !
Thank goodness she’s strong , healthy, resilient and has no plans to retire for many years.
In honor of the next chapter of her life, she has joined forces with a California dentist who specializes in sleep medicine to record her first ever podcast. Called
“Sleep, S*x, and Senility,” this will be a podcast for the general public from coast to coast featuring topics on the interconnectedness between oral and systemic health.
