As November comes to a close, we look back at back at Epilepsy Awareness Month.
Supporting these children and bringing awareness to our communities about epilepsy is what Epilepsy Awareness Month is all about.
For most families, epilepsy can mean much more than just seizuresโit can mean meds, safety, and balancing daily, school, and long-term needs. But for each diagnosis, there is a kid who wants to be comfortable, feel normal, and be able to thrive.
Here at KidMedGA, we're all about assisting families in obtaining the necessary supplies covered by Medicaid that make a difference for them on a day-to-day basis. Whether itsโ discussing incontinence supplies, nocturnal protection, or other important supplies, having the right tools can reduce stress for the family members caring for them.
This month, weโre with all the parents, caretakers, and kids who make up the epilepsy community. The more who know, the better who can understand and help.
Together, we can bring greater attention to epilepsy and the families who are living through it.
