This week at Nurturing Minds 🤍

From imaginative play and hands-on learning to problem solving and building new skills, our days are filled with so much more than just “sessions.” We’re building independence, communication, creativity, and confidence one moment at a time.

We even caught our team in their natural habitat… supporting, planning, problem-solving, and doing all the behind-the-scenes work that helps everything run smoothly!

And of course, we made time to celebrate too! 🎈🧁 Because birthdays (and the joy that comes with them) matter just as much as every other milestone!

Every child learns differently, plays differently, and grows in their own way and we’re here to support all of it. The focused moments, the proud smiles, the little wins, the big celebrations… this is what it’s all about.

We love getting to be part of it!

A new online portal is available for Georgia Medicaid Katie Beckett members. The new portal is designed to provide a more convenient way to access and manage your benefits.

With the new portal, you can:
- Upload and submit application & renewal documents
- Track your application status and checklists
- Securely message your case worker

Once you complete a new application or renewal, you will receive an email to set up your account at katiebeckettportal.dch.georgia.gov

Autism acceptance isn’t something we celebrate just once.
It’s something we choose every single day.

As providers, our role isn’t to change who a child is.
It’s to support them in a way that respects their individuality and allows them to grow in ways that feel meaningful to them.

And when they are valued, they begin to thrive.

🌷🐰 We’re so excited to share this with our community!

Nurturing Minds Therapy Center will be joining Prosper’s sensory-friendly Spring Bash, happening Sunday, March 22nd from
1:00–4:00 PM, and we would love to see you there!

This event is designed to be welcoming and inclusive for all children and will include pictures with the Easter Bunny, interactive booths and activities, accessible Easter egg hunts, concessions, and more.🐣

It’s a wonderful opportunity for kids to enjoy a fun, supportive environment while celebrating the season and connecting with other families in the community.

🌟 Meet the Team: Eva! 🌟

Every clinic needs someone who keeps everything running smoothly… and for us, that’s Eva! 💛

Eva has been with Nurturing Minds since the very beginning and serves as our amazing Client Care Coordinator. She helps support our families and staff by managing billing, scheduling, parent communication, and everything in between — making sure things run smoothly each day.

Eva is known around the clinic for being caring, understanding, and flexible, and our team truly appreciates the supportive attitude she brings to work every day.

✨ Favorite part of the job: Watching our kiddos make progress toward their goals — whether it’s a big milestone or one of those small wins that mean just as much.

🌿 When she’s not at the clinic: Eva enjoys reading, gardening, and spending time with her family.

We’re so grateful for the positivity, support, and heart Eva brings to Nurturing Minds every single day!

This week at Nurturing Minds 🎨💕

We painted.
We scribbled.
We dotted.
We focused.
We smiled.

From tiny brush strokes to bold color choices, our kiddos were busy creating — and growing. Art time isn’t just fun (even though it definitely is 😉). It’s building fine motor skills, encouraging creativity, strengthening attention, and giving our kids a safe space to express themselves.

And let’s be honest… those proud little smiles make it all worth it.

We love getting to watch their confidence grow one masterpiece at a time. 💛

Love was definitely in the air at Nurturing Minds this week 💕

From the biggest hugs to the sweetest smiles (and yes… a few “Mr. Steal Your Heart” moments 😉), our Valentine’s Party was full of joy, laughter, and connection.

We are so thankful for our amazing parents for trusting us, for partnering with us, and for letting your kiddos be here to celebrate special moments like this together. It means so much to have families who show up, support, and truly make this community what it is.

These aren’t just cute party pictures.
They’re snapshots of comfort, belonging, and relationships that matter. ❤️

Friends who play together, learn together 💫
At Nurturing Minds Therapy Center, we love creating spaces where kiddos can practice sharing favorite toys, building side by side, taking turns, and simply enjoying time with friends. These moments of connection and cooperation are where so much learning happens and getting to watch friendships grow is one of the best parts of our days!
