This young patient had three sessions of PRF and microneedling and here can be seen her results of her healed scars with refreshed and glowing skin. PRF (platelet rich fibrin) treatments for hair are very effective for hair revitalization, and use no artificial additives, only your own body’s best cells and growth factors to regrow hair. This patient had 3 treatments over several months and loved his results so much, he returned for more sessions.

My beautiful patient did not like her aged hands and felt that they have become more wrinkled with time, especially over the knuckles region.
This has left her very self conscious as she speaks with her hands publicly and she doesn’t like feeling self conscious about them. The before photo is on the left and the after is of her other hand, after injections with 1.5 syringes of hyaluronic acid filler. The results are immediate (note especially over the knuckles where in the before photo they are more wrinkled and the skin appears more dry) and after therapy, she felt less self conscious of her hands and was so happy with the hydrated and smoother appearance of her skin.

This patient started her journey with me 6 years ago with treatments for acne scars on her chin.

I performed subcision and filler treatment for her depressed cystic acne scars and until this day, her treatment results have lasted and still look phenomenal.

At this treatment she sought to revitalize her lips as it is natural for lip muscles to thin as we age, leaving lips flattened, and shapeless, and with many small lines.

For balance of her lips with the projection of her nose and chin, I performed a lips and chin treatment to retain her natural beauty and maintain balanced features—the goal is to look like you’re born with it, and this beautiful patient looks just like herself post procedure.

As a physician, I never strive to over treat, and it is my goal that each face is appreciated differently.

I intentionally treat each like a piece of art which is curated to fulfill its own beauty.

People are often worried about having an overfilled appearance with dermal fillers. If you see this beautiful patient in her photos, you’d never tell she had anything done-yet over the years, her face has remained as youthful as ever (you’d never guess her age!).

In my practice, I don’t set a quota of filler syringes, and I certainly don’t set a time limit to inject a single syringe. Many practices set a 15 minute time limit per syringe to meet profitability goals. I don’t believe in this and would never subject my patients to a rushed, inject by numbers approach.

It’s the subtle and gentle procedures that makes the most beautiful impact-maintaining one’s beauty with procedures that leaves everyone wondering “she looks amazing, what is she doing?”. This is the desired outcome we achieve with fillers-natural, undetectable- yet very beautiful.

That’s the goal of an artistic approach I use in each face. It’s never a cookie cutter, inject by numbers approach taught by some instructors of filler injections. It goes without saying that each face is unique and will have a very specialized treatment. Not all injectors can do this as they are trained in a cookie cutter fashion to make it easier for them to learn how to inject.

Only injectors with years of experience, and knowledge of how to use dermal fillers as a “paintbrush” to literally beautify or diminish gradual signs of aging.

My beautiful patient had 2 syringes strategically placed in micro droplet fashion to revolumize flattening areas of her face.

Dikembe Mtumbo was a true humanitarian and I was very saddened to hear about his passing. Here we are in 2019 at his annual fundraiser for a hospital in the DRC (Congo), which he passionately fundraised for every year. May his soul rest in peace. Meeting amazing humans who truly care for people, when everyone else has forgotten them, gives me inspiration and hope for a better world. May his legacy carry on
