Meet Edith Murway-Traina, a true powerhouse who proved that age is just a number and that determination has no expiration date. At 100 years old, she earned the Guinness World Record as the oldest competitive female powerlifter. Even more incredible? Edith didn’t pick up her first barbell until she was 91.

When others doubted, she showed up. When challenges came, she pushed through. Edith inspired generations by showing us that it’s never too late to chase greatness.

Though she passed away in 2023 at the age of 101, her legacy lives on—reminding us all to live life boldly, pursue purpose at every age, and never give up.

"For people who think at 100, a person should be slowing down… I think they ought to be speeding up." – Mike Fremont

At 100 years old, Mike Fremont is still running 5 to 10 miles, three times a week. He’s a cancer survivor, a world-record-holding marathon runner, a great-grandfather—and living proof that age is just a number.

Mike didn’t even start running until his 30s. After overcoming personal loss and a cancer diagnosis, he embraced fitness and a plant-based lifestyle. The results? He began breaking records in his 80s and 90s and hasn't stopped moving since.

At Comfort Keepers, we’ve had the honor of serving several inspiring centenarians over the past 20 years. These incredible individuals remind us that dreams don’t have an age limit—and that healthy choices today build the foundation for a vibrant tomorrow.

💪 Whether it’s a morning jog, a walk with a caregiver, or simply staying active at home, fitness and movement are key to aging gracefully and joyfully.
