This month, our very own Garrett will be running the Boston Marathon in support of Pancreatic Cancer research and awareness.

Training for a marathon takes dedication, resilience, and a strong support system—and we’re incredibly proud to cheer him on.

Garrett is running not just for the finish line, but for a cause that impacts so many families. Join us in wishing him luck on race day!

This month, we say goodbye to three valued members of our team.

Thank you to Ash, our Patient Care Coordinator, for his friendliness, positivity, and the welcoming presence you brought to our front desk each day. He has made a lasting impact on both our team and our patients. We also wish Cassie and Stephanie, our Physical Therapy Aides, all the best in their next chapters. Cassie has been accepted to Massachusetts General Hospital’s program and will begin in May! Steph was accepted into Baylor University's PT program! Congratulations on these exciting achievements! We're excited for what’s ahead for these two.

Join us in welcoming Brianna to the team!

A Los Altos native with a Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Pittsburgh, Brianna brings a strong passion for sports medicine and personalized patient care. She loves helping patients understand their injuries and feel confident throughout recovery.

When she’s not in the clinic, you’ll find her trying new restaurants, staying active, or enjoying time by the water ☀️💧 We’re so excited to have her here—say hi when you see her!

No joke — walking might be the most underrated exercise out there.

Today is both April Fools' Day and National Walking Day, and while there may be plenty of pranks today, the benefits of walking are the real deal.

Regular walking can help improve joint mobility, strengthen muscles, reduce stress, and support recovery from injuries. If pain in your knees, hips, or back is keeping you from getting your steps in, physical therapy can help get you moving comfortably again.

So today’s reminder: lace up your shoes, take a walk, and don’t let aches and pains fool you into staying still.

Knee pain. Low back pain. Calf strains.

These are some of the most common injuries we see in South Bay runners — and the good news is, most of them can be treated without completely stopping your running.

A small ache doesn’t have to turn into a season-ending problem.
If something feels off, address it early.
