Good morning everyone! So we’ve decided that we will be postponing donations for now due to the risk posed by COV-ID 19. After doing some research we’ve found that this virus can live on most surfaces for 1-3 days. Although we cannot accept them now please keep in mind we still intend on our bag drive in August for now! Thank you for thinking of these kids again. 💕

Hey everyone! Quick update, we are tentatively looking at early August for our next Bag Drive but it all depends on everyone’s schedules and venue availability! We had a great turn out of about 15 people and packed 83 bags at this this last one and hope to see even more people come out to our Summer Bag Drive! Be on the look out for announcements by following the page and sometime soon we hope to start accepting donations based on the current circumstances surrounding the 🦠 going around.

The bags have been dropped off!! Thank you Cathy Wynne Williford for helping drop off these bags to Kids First, Inc. Child Abuse Treatment Center in Elizabeth City. They were so happy to receive these bags and shared with us their cause. They help children and foster children who survive domestic violence and also help provide treatment to them. We hope to continue this partnership with this wonderful Non Profit and think of even more ways we can make a difference!

WE PACKED 83 BAGS!!

Thank you so much to everyone who came out and helped pack these bags for Foster Children and survivors of domestic violence! Thank you as well to everyone who made this first bag drive possible by contributing items and supporting our cause. We hope to continue this drive and help more kids by the end of this summer!!

We CAN’T WAIT for the upcoming bag drive tomorrow afternoon! Here is some quick information on it for anyone who is interested...

We are expecting a much larger turn out than initially planned, we were very fortunate to be permitted to use the main lobby of Red Knot Apartments but have been told to try to keep it to around 15 people at a time.

Please, sign in at the front with one of our volunteers (They will have NAME STICKERS) and then listen closely to directions. This will help the drive go efficiently as possible and make it more fun!

Since we are expecting a large turnout please stick to ONE bag at a time or feel free to ask how you can help! (We will really need help with the kindness card center the most.

Again, thank you for everyone’s patience, kind words and most of all for thinking of these children.

This cause is a Volunteer Based Group and would not be possible without each and every one of you!! 🥰😎😁

Hey everyone!

So I have some great news, I was able to partner us with an organization called “Kids First Inc” in Elizabeth city. They help children who are fosters, victims of domestic abuse etc and help them get back on their feet. They are so excited to receive the March drive Bags and we will be delivering them personally March 2nd! 😍

We are hoping to expand our support for the community to many different organizations/non profits. Although we are a slow growing volunteer based group, we are making a difference and I can’t wait to see what is next for Bags 4 Kids.

This wouldn’t be possible with all of you helping and thinking of these kids, so from the bottom of my ❤️ THANK YOU!!

Good afternoon everyone! The bag drive is finally coming up this weekend on the 1st of March! I have some great news that I will be sharing shortly but for now here is a quick look at our supplies for the drive so far! Forgive the mess but until I can figure out a permanent location in my house for all of this it may look a bit disorganized. But I do promise I have an accurate count of everything and I can’t wait for this weekend! If you have supplies you’d still like to chip in but are waiting for the day of the event please let me know the amount and type of supplies so I can count on those! Thank you all. 💕

Please remember we are close to our goal of 50 bags but are lacking some stuffed animals still!
