This week is a reminder of something I’ve always believed—massage therapy is more than just relaxation… it’s care, it’s healing, and it’s listening to what the body is trying to say.

Every session isn’t just about muscles.
It’s about stress that’s been carried too long, tension that never got addressed, and giving your body the attention it deserves.

The VA Whole Health Program focuses on supporting the whole person — body, mind, and overall well-being. Many Veterans may qualify for services like massage therapy, chiropractor, and acupuncture through the VA Community Care program with a provider referral.

I’m proud to serve as a VA Community Care Provider, helping support North Carolina and Virginia Veterans through therapeutic massage.

It is truly an honor to care for those who have served.

I want to give everyone a heads up about a change coming soon.

Beginning April 1st, my massage rates will be increasing:

• 60 Minutes – $100 (currently $85)
• 90 Minutes – $130 (currently $100)
• 2 Hours – $220 (currently $175)

30-minute massages and chair massage rates will remain the same.

When I opened Maluhia Massage & Bodywork, LLC, I set my prices with the goal of making massage accessible while building my practice. I have not raised my prices in the three years I’ve been in business. With the continued rise in the cost of supplies and everyday expenses, it’s simply time to make this adjustment.

I also need to stay competitive with other massage therapists in our area, while continuing to provide the level of care my clients have come to expect.

I’m incredibly grateful for each of you who trust me with your care. Being able to serve this community—especially many of our veterans—has truly been a blessing.

Gift Certificates:
If you currently have a gift certificate, or have gifted one to someone, I will honor the full face value through December 31, 2026. Beginning January 2027, gift certificates will still be accepted, but the difference will need to be paid if the service price is higher than the certificate amount.

Right now, I am booked out until the end of May, and I truly feel so Blessed. Being able to serve so many of you — especially the men and women who have served our country — is something I do not take lightly. It is an honor to care for you. 💕
