Losing so unexpectedly has been pretty hard on everyone... Those in our program have been learning a lot as we walk through the together. Things like , , , and that . We've been learning to be for the , and to . Yukon was loved by so many, and the love he showed us will live on in our hearts forever. Thanks for everything big guy. Rest easy - we'll take it from here. 💙

It is with shocked and shattered hearts that we said goodbye to our beloved Yukon yesterday, and we're all still trying to wrap our minds around the fact that he's gone.

At 14yrs old, he spent his last few years giving and receiving love from so many here at the farm. At 18.3 hands tall, he had more than enough silliness and snuggles to go around. He was extra gentle with the little ones, and a peaceful, calming presence for all who needed it. He took his job as a therapy horse seriously, and so many lives were touched by this gentle giant. He rocked flowers in his mane, Santa hats on his ears, and was a canvas for many creative painting projects. He taught us how to be silly, work hard, and play even harder. We are forever grateful for the memories we now hold even closer in our hearts.

Yukon took a big piece of our hearts, and we already miss him more than words can say.

Rest easy big guy, we all loved you so much. 💔 We could never thank you enough.
