This Holy Week, I take a moment to reflect on the two people who shaped my life in every way, my father and my mother.

My father was a man of unwavering integrity. He lived by principle, always choosing what was right, even when it was difficult. He never wronged anyone and showed us, through his actions, what true character, discipline, and honor look like. His example continues to guide me, especially through life’s most challenging moments.

My mother is, simply put, an angel. Her heart, her strength, and her unconditional love have been the foundation of our family. She has given so much of herself to all of us, and her influence is the reason so many in our family chose to dedicate their lives to caring for others (in the field of medicine). We are incredibly blessed to have her with us.

During this Holy Week, I say a prayer for my father, may his soul rest in eternal peace and a prayer for my mother, that she is protected, surrounded by health, and continues to bless our lives for many years to come.

Family is everything. And I wouldn’t trade mine for anything in this world.
