They called it a “little business.” Funny enough, it was mostly guys who underestimated what I was building. Some leads or referrals didn’t see the value, maybe they thought I was too expensive or just didn’t get it. But I stayed true. I found freedom, and now I help others find theirs, whether that freedom is picking up their kids, being at school plays, or traveling the world. Freedom looks different for everyone. I’m so glad I didn’t listen to those who minimized me, because now that freedom is not just mine, it’s shared. It’s hard to explain, until you live it.
