Sorry for the delayed update, life got really busy! We ended up with one good embryo from our last cycle. The plan is to do my ERA(mock transfer cycle) this month then if all goes well we will do the embryo transfer. We are hopeful! Please keep us in your prayers!❤️

We ended up with 5 mature eggs this round. Of those, 3 fertilized normally so we have 3 embryos that they will continue to watch over the next several days.🙏❤️

UPDATE.. We returned to WVFI in January to start another stim cycle, but I already had a dominant follicle so it was recommended to hold off on starting meds. The goal is to grow as many follicles as possible at the same rate in order to have the best outcome for egg retrieval. Since I already had one that was larger than the others it would most likely outgrow the rest and we would end up with a low number of mature eggs for retrieval. So we held off. Yesterday I returned to the clinic and got the clearance to start my “lead in” meds next week with the hope of starting my stim meds the following week. Please pray for a positive outcome and that one day we will have our own little miracle!❤️

Unfortunately, none of our embryos are able to be transferred😞 We’re crushed but we’re not giving up. We are going to take some time to heal and refocus before trying again. Please continue to pray for us as this journey has been harder than we anticipated.❤️

We ended up with 4 frozen embryos out of 11 eggs retrieved.❤️ This month we are doing an ERA or “mock cycle” to ensure the most appropriate timing for embryo transfer.

Yesterday was a bit of a whirlwind, but I had the best care at Carolinas Fertility Institute in Winston-Salem, NC. Now we just wait and pray for a good outcome!🙏❤️
