We are happy to announce that our Tomball location has moved just a few miles to better serve our community! 🏘 We are thankful the Lord has provided a new space for us to share with our children and families. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

We have a heart for children and provide speech therapy to support our patients with their language, articulation, and fluency skills in a caring environment. They are met where they are and then empowered to reach their full potential. ⭐️

We will be closed on Monday due to the winter storm. Stay safe and warm.❄️ We will continue to follow the winter weather closure schedules for Cy-Fair, Tomball, and Klein ISDs.

Out of an abundance of caution, all CFISD schools and facilities will be CLOSED on Monday, Jan. 26 due to anticipated extreme temperatures and winter precipitation throughout the area. All extracurricular and after-school events will be canceled. Stay tuned to the district website, social media and SchoolMessenger for updates. Please stay warm and safe!

We will be monitoring the weather for next week due to the winter storm and will follow any closure schedules for Tomball, Klein, and Cy-Fair ISDs.

We are closely monitoring an approaching cold front expected to move into our area this weekend that may bring freezing temperatures and the potential for icy conditions. The safety of our students, staff, and families is always our top priority.

To minimize travel risks and ensure everyone’s safety, the following adjustments are being made:
• All weekend athletic events will be moved to be completed by Friday. Coaches will communicate the details.
• All weekend district (non-athletic) events are postponed.
• The Rodeo Art Show (originally scheduled for Saturday from 9 AM to Noon at the Tomball Event Center) will be rescheduled for 9 AM to Noon on Saturday, February 7 at the Tomball Event Center.

Those participating in weekend events will be notified by their co-curricular sponsor with additional details.

✨️✨️✨️Wonderful News✨️✨️✨️

We are thrilled to welcome Ms. Leslie Miranda Mera to our team! She is a compassionate bilingual speech-language pathology assistant who is dedicated to making a difference in our community. Our children have enjoyed their sessions with her since she joined us! 💗

She graduated from The University of Texas at Dallas with a Bachelor of Science in Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences and a minor in Psychology. Ms. Leslie has a gift for connecting with our children and families, and she loves incorporating their interests into her speech therapy sessions. Ms. Leslie's favorite areas to treat are language and articulation, and she is committed to helping our children reach their full potential.

Ms. Leslie's background is special since she's had the opportunity to live all over the world with her family, including Venezuela, Brazil, Egypt, Oklahoma, and Texas! She comes from a musical family and has a beautiful voice, having sung in the choir during high school and college.

We feel truly blessed to have her on our team and look forward to the many ways the Lord will use her to inspire and guide our children and families. 💕🎉💖🌈😊

We can't believe it was three years ago when Light of Mine Speech Therapy, PLLC was blessed with its first sweet patient! The adventure has been full of learning experiences and children who have touched our hearts! 💚💜🩷

This has been our best summer yet as we have met many new faces! We are so thankful for the support we have received from our friends, families, patients, and their dedicated parents. 👶👨‍👩‍👧‍👦👧

🎉🎉🎉Amazing News🎉🎉🎉

We are so excited to welcome Ms. Gizelle Romo, Speech-language Pathology Assistant to our team! She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Disorders from The University of Houston. She brings sweetness and fun to every therapy session and is able to provide bilingual services in English and Spanish!

Gizelle is passionate about supporting children with language delays, autism, and loves play-based therapy. Our families and children have enjoyed working with her these past few weeks, and we feel blessed to have her! 🤗

She recently got engaged and is excited about getting married! In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and walking the trails with her dogs. We look forward to seeing how God will use her and the great things he will do through her! 💕
