Our Story
HKSC was founded on March 1st, 2019 by Dr. Devaraj Munikrishnappa and Dr. Ghayyath Sultan, after practicing in the same area for 10 years and 4 years respectively. They are experienced and passionate practicing Nephrologists, well trained in the field of Nephrology at St. Louis University, St. Louis, Missouri and University of Texas at San Antonio, Texas respectively. They are Board-Certified in Nephrology and are Diplomats of the American Board of Internal Medicine and Nephrology.
They have over 14 years of experience in the field of Nephrology and over 35 years in the field of Medicine. Both have held physician leadership roles consistently.
Dr. Munikrishnappa has been serving as Medical Director for Dialysis units. He has been invited to attend Physician Leadership Meetings by DaVita for the last several years consecutively. He is also an active member of the American Society of Nephrology. He has been part of Medical Executive Committee at Methodist Willowbrook Hospital for a tenure of two years from 2017 through 2018 and current member of the Clinical Programs Committee of the Memorial Hermann Hospital Network. Both Physicians are members of the Renal Care Organization, an invited group of excellent Nephrologists across the United States of America.
We envision HKSC to be one of the most sought-after premier Nephrology Groups in the Northwest Houston area. We have the honor and fortune of being very well received by the community of patients, a large physician referral bases and dialysis units alike for several years now.
