🚨URGENT-Immediate action needed! Takes a few seconds to help!

Yesterday in Austin, Sen. Charles Perry introduced Senate Bill 5, which closely reflects SB 3 from the regular session. The bill bans all cannabinoids other than CBD and CBG, creating criminal penalties for sales AND possession. Sen. Perry and Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick remain dedicated to handing over the h**p industry to the illicit market and re-criminalizing simple possession. But Gov. Greg Abbott has called for regulations, NOT prohibition!

To ensure consumer protection, hold bad actors accountable, and prevent youth access to h**p-derived THC, our state should work to fill the gaps in our current regulatory infrastructure.

SB 5 was quickly referred to the Senate State Affairs Committee and immediately scheduled for a hearing with very little notice to the public. The committee will meet at 9am this morning to consider SB 5 and two other bills.

We can't know exactly what time SB 5 will be up for consideration this morning, so advocates are encouraged to oppose this by submitting written testimony immediately to:

A federal Senate committee is voting on language that would redefine “h**p” and ban nearly all h**p-derived products— including non-intoxicating CBD and legal, compliant THC. If it passes, this change could override protections in Texas and impact the entire industry.

SB 3 HAS BEEN VETOED!
has shown the people of Texas who he works for — proving that truth, freedom, and the voices of Texans still matter.

By vetoing SB 3, he stood with millions of Texans, protected 53,000+ jobs,— and rejected the lies, donors, and Dan Patrick’s propaganda crusade.

Texas lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick has gone on an aggressive campaign to ban all THC products in Texas. He says that he’s VERY concerned for the children. 🙄🙄

He is very concerned that this could impact the health of adults but why is he not concerned about adults drinking a whole case of beer or an entire bottle of whisky? Well…he’s bought by the alcohol industry.

One of the biggest donors to his campaign is Silver Eagle Beverages, a distributor for Anheuser Busch who donated $250,000 and then donated another $100,000 bringing the total to $350,000. He also received $50,000 from the Beer Alliance of Texas Pac, which represents the interest of the alcohol industry.

If he was banning all alcohol and THC products we could understand his worries but so far it seems like he’s a littler servant for the beer industry that bought him already.

Democrat or Republican, the same playbook stands. Big money is trying to tell us what we should do because it benefits them and these minions get on their knees for them.

Everything should be practiced with moderation including Ma*****na, however it’s quite obvious what is going on and we should stop pretending this is about safety. They don’t care about kids being shot up in schools but they’re concerned about them now? Was I born yesterday?

Dan Patrick should not be in one of the highest offices in Texas. He should be rotting in prison.
