Great news in Texas! The Governor of Texas has signed HB4099 this week, which alters the direct access laws in TX for PT.

Beginning 9/1/25, the new law will go into effect, which will allow for Physical Therapists to provide care without a referral for up to 30 calendar days, up from the previous 10 -15 business days.
