The key difference between anxiety and OCD is:

General anxiety involves excessive worry about real-life concerns (like health, work, relationships) without the cycle of obsessions and compulsions.

OCD involves intrusive, unwanted thoughts (obsessions) and repetitive behaviors or mental rituals (compulsions) done to reduce distress — even when the person knows the thoughts or actions don’t make logical sense.

In simpler terms:
• Anxiety = “What if something bad happens?”
• OCD = “What if this terrible thought I had means something about me? I have to do something to feel okay.

Can you spot the myth about anxiety? Comment your guess below! ⬇️

1️⃣ Anxiety can sometimes be helpful. It alerts us to danger and helps us prepare for challenges.

2️⃣ Avoiding what makes you anxious will make your anxiety go away. The best way to beat anxiety is to avoid anything that triggers it.

3️⃣ Your thoughts are not always facts. Just because you think something bad will happen doesn’t mean it’s true.

Which one is the myth? Drop your answer below, and we’ll reveal the truth later today! 🧐👇

Resilience: The Strength to Keep Going

Resilience isn’t about avoiding struggle, it’s about finding the courage to move through it. It’s the quiet strength that allows you to bend without breaking, to face setbacks and still move forward.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, remember: resilience is built one small step at a time. Rest when you need to, but don’t give up. You are stronger than you think.

💭 Struggling with Relationship Anxiety or ROCD? You’re Not Alone.

Do you constantly question your relationship? Wonder if you truly love your partner? Seek reassurance but never feel fully satisfied?

Relationship OCD (ROCD) and relationship anxiety can make even the strongest relationships feel uncertain. But doubt does not always mean something is wrong. Anxiety thrives on overthinking and the need for certainty, but love does not work that way.

In our latest blog, we break down common myths about ROCD and relationship anxiety, helping you understand what is real and what is fear-driven.

🛑 Mental compulsions are still compulsions. Just because they’re happening in your mind doesn’t mean they’re harmless.

Overanalyzing, mentally checking, seeking certainty…these all keep the OCD cycle going.

Next time you catch yourself engaging in a mental compulsion, try this:
✨ Pause – Notice that it’s happening.
✨ Label it – “This is a compulsion.”
✨ Shift your focus – Bring your attention back to the present moment.

The goal isn’t to stop intrusive thoughts, it’s to stop responding to them. 💙

“Just This” - A Simple Mindfulness Tool for OCD & Anxiety

An intrusive thought pops up. A wave of anxiety rushes in. Your brain says, “Fix this. Figure it out.” But what if you didn’t?

Instead, try this: Pause. Notice. Whisper to yourself… “Just this.”

✨ Just this thought.
✨ Just this feeling.
✨ Just this moment.

No analyzing. No problem-solving. No compulsions. Just allowing it to be, without judgment, without resistance. Like a cloud drifting across the sky.

When anxiety pulls you into what ifs, anchor yourself in just this.
