Ever heard of EMDR therapy and wondered what it actually is? 👀

EMDR stands for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing — a therapy designed to help your brain heal from trauma. 💫

Instead of reliving painful memories, EMDR helps your brain reprocess them so they lose their emotional “charge.”
Think of it like your brain finally finishing a file it’s been trying to close for years. 🗂️

During EMDR, you focus on a memory while following gentle side-to-side movements (like eye motions, tapping, or sounds). This helps your brain connect past and present — reducing distress and building calm. 🌿
