At Thrive Speech Therapy, we are always finding ways to come together and learn from one another. 💜

Our Learning Lounge is a time where our team gets together, in person and virtually, to learn about different topics, share knowledge, and continue growing as clinicians.

During our most recent session, we had the opportunity to collaborate with Erin Caramanian, OTR, who shared more about occupational therapy and how sensory processing and regulation can support children during therapy sessions. It was a great opportunity for our team to learn from another discipline, ask questions, and continue strengthening how we support the families we serve.

Books are one of the best tools to support speech and language development at home.

Simple, repetitive books help children learn new words, follow along with a story, and anticipate what comes next. Bonus: it creates special routines that support connection and communication.

You don’t need to quiz your child while reading. Just talk, pause, and enjoy the moment together.
