Stuttering can feel frustrating for children, but the way we respond can make a big difference.

If your child is stuttering, try this: • Pause and give them time
• Maintain calm eye contact
• Slow your own speech
• Avoid correcting or rushing • Let them know it’s okay

We had the best time celebrating together at our annual holiday party this past weekend! We recognized our clinicians, played games, danced, enjoyed great food, and spent time with the friends and family who came out to celebrate with us. It was the perfect way to reflect on the year and everything we’ve built together.

It’s normal for speech progress to move in waves.

Your child might surprise you one day, then seem to stall the next. This doesn’t mean therapy isn’t working. It means they’re learning, practicing, and integrating new skills at their own pace.

She presented Ethical Dilemmas and Moral Responsibility, where she shared the real-life decisions therapists face and how they work through them to ensure families always receive honest, ethical, high-quality care. She also introduced tools like Kidder’s Model that help clinicians stay confident and consistent when navigating tough choices.

We’re so grateful for Brittani’s leadership and for the passion she brings to our team every day!
