Pack 676 Cub Scouts

It's wonderful to witness our pack's growth! Our new Cub Scouts have truly added so much joy to our pack. On Friday evening, we convened for another exceptional den meeting. The dens diligently worked on completing their elective adventures while having an enjoyable experience. For instance, some scouts learned about encryption and ways to create and decode messages. On May 17th, we eagerly anticipate celebrating the scouts' rank advancement, a special ceremony that recognizes their accomplishments and achievements. But the fun doesn’t stop there; during the summer, we get together for a hike or another fun adventure to keep in touch. We hope to see more scouts in the coming year!

Tonight's event was a resounding success! Pack 676's Pinewood Derby highlighted the power of imagination and friendly competition, topped off with a tasty meal. Thanks and congratulations to all participants and winners!

This evening, scouts participated in a Pinewood Derby car weigh-in, followed by the design and flight of paper airplanes, and ending in a thrilling (paper airplane) race! 📌Join us next Friday, 4/25, in the Morris MPR for our official Pinewood Derby race. Have a nice weekend!

Pack 676 had a fantastic time last night. Some scouts worked on their Derby cars in preparation for the Pine Derby, which will be held later this month. Other scouts worked on earning their loops by learning about maps and how to use them. The Lion den worked on a fun craft.

Pack 676 had an amazing time at Oso Lake campground this weekend! Scouts participated in archery, BB guns, and slingshots. Check out the pictures below. **Please join us every Friday evening at 6:30 p.m. in the MPR at Morris Elementary School for fun and educational activities. Remember, Cub Scouts is for boys and girls, Kinder thru 5th grade**

It's Pi Day - 3.14 - get it? March 14? Pack 676 celebrated three birthdays tonight! Although we didn't have pie, we enjoyed cupcakes 🧁. Scouts received loops for their belts, and we watched a video on how to make our Pine Derby cars faster.
