Parents, PLEASE pay attention to what your children are doing online. This could have been avoided, he was pretending to be a 17 year old and his victim was 12.
He was sentenced to 35 years for this crime. Here is where our judicial system is breaking down. Before this case, Cardente was already a registered s*x offender after pleading no contest to molesting a 2-year-old boy and a 13-year-old girl in 2014. So he had multiple priors and was released to commit additional crimes.
