Courtney Suddath, Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor Courtney Suddath is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor and the owner of Sycamore Family Counseling in Cypress, Texas.

Courtney specializes in counseling children, teens, and adults. As a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Specialist in School Psychology, I have been working with children, teens, adults and families for over 13 years. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Texas Tech University, and a Master's degree in Psychology from Houston Baptist University. I have experience in working with children who have special needs, and their families including helping parents navigate the school system. My focus is to guide individuals and families to change patterns, discover productive communication techniques, to strengthen relationships and increase success at home, at school, and in their community. My work with parents is purposed to empower their family by learning effective communication techniques, creating appropriate boundaries within the framework of their family, as well as gaining tools to help them in parenting their children. My ultimate goal in counseling is to give children, teens, adults and families hope and tools to work towards healing what has been negatively affected by the circumstances of life.

My time at Cy-Hope was truly meaningful. I deeply value the experience I gained both as a therapist and a leader during my years with this incredible organization. While I am stepping back from a major leadership role, I will always cherish the relationships I formed and carry them with me as I embark on the next chapter of my career.

I am excited to announce the launch of my independent private practice in Cypress, Sycamore Family Counseling. While the LLC has been established for 12 years, I am now stepping into this new chapter to provide dedicated and personalized care to my clients. I look forward to focusing more deeply on their growth and well-being as I embark on this meaningful journey.
