Though I have been at this for a year or so, I have been the worst about updating my photos….so, I will be posting many more moving forward. Follow my Instagram page for the most up to date gallery!
This has been on Instagram for a while but I want to point out a few things.
This picture is in the same room at the same distance but obviously very different expressions. Even with that, there are many things I can point out, this lady had deep hollowing under her eyes causing underlying blood vessels to show through the skin and cause “dark circles”…..she has had no filler under her eyes in the second picture, but instead cheek filler has lifted the tissue under her eyes off and away from the underlying vessels allowing for a lighter appearance and a fuller appearance. This is a much safer and more effective solution than filling the under eye (tear trough), which can migrate behind the eye, resulting in serious complications, including blindness.
In addition, filling the cheek area pulls the tissue away from the nasolabial folds (smile lines), marionette lines (turned down mouth corners), both of these help the nose to not look so deeply set. Lastly, filling cheeks and/or jaw area decreases the jowl for a tighter jawline. By using two tubes of filler, one in each cheek area, she managed to treat six major concerns. Also, by placing the filler on the bone were able to use a non-hyaluronic acid filler (calcium based) filler that lasts up to five years in some cases, and three years in most cases.
In the first picture where you see the white dots, she was given xeomin, which is a Botox type Neurotoxin. We treated her horizontal forehead lines, the glabella (vertical lines between her eyebrows), we gave her a brow lift and softened crowsfeet, all with using only 64 units of Xeomin total, on upper face.
On her lower face, were able to give a very small amount of Xeomin to relax her chin and eliminate dimpling in the chin, further relax the corners of her mouth, and relax the horizontal line under her bottom lip above her chin. This technique allows her chin to rotate downward slightly and more to a youthful state.
As we age, we lose bone mass in the center of our face causing your chin to rotate forward and upward. The lower face treatment only took 8 units of Xeomin.
And finally, she had a lip flip using six units of Xeomin, on the very edge of her top lip, allowing it to slightly rotate upward, causing the appearance of a fuller upper lip without using filler. Similar to a liquid facelift, but using way less product is what we were able to achieve.
My goal is to give the best result with the least product, invasiveness, cost, and downtime. while being realistic, I will always try to give the best possible result with the least impact financially, or otherwise.
