Welcome, Safi U. Ahmed, MD!

We are excited to welcome Safi U. Ahmed, MD, to AdventHealth Medical Group Multispecialty at Pasco and AdventHealth Medical Group Multispecialty at 17th Street.

Safi U. Ahmed, MD, is a board-certified cardiologist and electrophysiologist who cares for patients ages 16 and older. Driven by a lifelong passion for helping others, Dr. Ahmed chose a career in cardiology and electrophysiology where his love for science, technology, and patient care converge. Dr. Ahmed is fluent in English, Urdu, and Hindi. In his free time, Dr. Ahmed enjoys spending quality time with his wife and children, often taking local trips and engaging in family-focused activities.

Dr. Ahmed is known for his compassionate approach and takes the time to truly understand each patient’s unique background, ensuring that every treatment plan is carefully tailored to the individual. With Dr. Ahmed, patients receive not only advanced cardiovascular care but also a genuine commitment to their well-being.

Welcome, Katherine Carson, MD!

We are excited to welcome Katherine Carson, MD, to AdventHealth Medical Group Multispecialty at 17th Street.

Katherine Carson, MD, is a skilled general surgeon caring for patients of all ages. Dr. Carson earned her undergraduate degree in bioengineering from A. James Clark School of Engineering at the University of Maryland. She then earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from New York Medical College School of Medicine. After medical school, she completed a residency in general surgery at AdventHealth Orlando. In her free time, Dr. Carson enjoys cooking and gardening.

Dr. Carson felt called to surgery because it gives her the unique opportunity to combine her medical knowledge with hands-on treatment to improve patients’ lives. She feels honored to have the capability to use her hands for healing.
