Big shoutout to an absolute rockstar on our team — Jazmine Lucius! 🎉👏

Jaz’s journey is nothing short of inspiring. She started with us as a CNA back on 12/03/2018, and through hard work, dedication, and pure determination, she earned her LPN license in 2025 — and she’s not stopping there! She’s already taking the next step toward becoming an RN. 💪📚

In the meantime, Jaz has been hungry for knowledge, diving deep into wound care prevention and treatment. That passion and commitment have earned her a well-deserved promotion to our Wound Care Nurse! 🩺✨

Jaz brings so much to Royal Oak — from her compassion, to now her passion for healing wounds, to her clear communication with families, and the education and support she provides to our nursing team every day. She truly makes a difference.

What a FUN-filled week we’ve had under the oaks! From our Pot of Gold birthday party to a magical mixer with Westbrooke, there has been no shortage of smiles and laughter. Our residents stayed active with noodle ball alongside our therapy team and had a blast during our EGGciting Easter egg hunt throughout the entire facility—no one left the prize room without a chocolate bunny or some Peeps! 🐥🍫

Today, we enjoyed our weekly Bible study with Pastor West, baked delicious banana bread during Cooking with Pete, and wrapped up this marvelous Monday with some relaxing manicures.

We’re already looking forward to another week full of fun, connection, and special moments. Wishing everyone a safe and wonderful week ahead! ✨

🎩✨ A little magic, a lot of smiles! ✨🎩

We had such a great time hosting our neighborhood mixer “magic show” , with residents from Gardens of Westbrooke! The energy in the room was amazing as everyone enjoyed tasty appetizers, sweet treats, and a show-stopping performance by the astonishing Houdini !

More than anything, it was about bringing people together—creating lots of laughter, building new friendships, and making unforgettable moments all around. 💫

These are the kinds of experiences that make our community (neighborhood) so special, and we love opening our doors to share that with others! 💚

This past week was full of so much fun here under the oaks! 💚 From green cupcakes, festive glasses, and balloons everywhere to a fun Walmart outing, uplifting singing groups, and a glamorous visit from The Gardens of Westbrook—there were smiles all around!

Our hearts are so full seeing our residents enjoy such meaningful, joy-filled days. Thank you to everyone who helps make each moment so special!

A special shoutout to The Gardens of Westbrook for making our ladies and gents look absolutely fabulous and capturing those beautiful moments! 💫 Thank you as well to Pasadena Church and Shelley & Friends for blessing us with amazing music and great vibes!

This week, on World Social Worker’s Day, we want to recognize someone who truly embodies the heart of this profession—Billie Jo Collins.

Billie Jo is more than a social worker; she is a constant source of comfort and compassion to everyone around her. She is the listening ear people turn to, the smiling face in challenging moments, the gentle hand in difficult situations, and a lifeline to our residents, their families, and each of her peers—making others feel seen, heard, and valued.

Her trustworthiness, empathy, and kindness shine through in everything she does. As a true team player, she lifts others up and reminds us all what it means to care deeply and serve wholeheartedly.

Billie Jo is the very definition of what a social worker should be, and we are incredibly grateful for the impact she makes each and every day.
