Spreading a little extra love this Valentine’s season 💘 We had the sweetest time collaborating with one of our wonderful ALF partners for their Valentines party! We were so happy to bring deserts, and help serve their residents, but most importantly, helping to put big smiles on so many faces.

We love opportunities to collaborate like this. We build meaningful relationships and support our senior community. 🩷

Love, laughter, and liveliness filled the air here under the Oaks this week! 💕

We enjoyed our monthly visit from St. Rita’s, a wonderful performance by Sock Monkey Music, and of course the town favorite… BINGO & Wij Bowling! 🎉

We also had a special visit from Mission Home Care and treated everyone to some delicious strawberry shortcake—so yummy! 🍓🍰 We wrapped up the week with treats, flowers, and karaoke… so many smiles and happy voices! 🎤🌸

A huge THANK YOU to all the volunteers, schools, churches, and the 4-H group who donated cards. They brightened so many faces and truly mean so much to our residents. 💌

What a FUN start to February here under the Oaks! 🎉

We’ve been keeping busy with all kinds of excitement—from making pine cone bird feeders 🐦 and enjoying daily exercise 💪 to laughing and chatting with friends (who surprised us with some delicious cake! 🎂).

And the highlight? Special visits from our furry friends, who showed up dressed in their Valentine’s attire… absolutely adorable and full of love! 🐶💘

There’s never a dull moment here! Wishing everyone a safe, happy, and fun weekend—from our family to yours! ❤️

We may have missed the calendar, but there is never a wrong day to celebrate someone as special as Shelby. 💐

In honor of Activity Professionals Week (fashionably late 😉), today—and every day—we celebrate Shelby, our incredible Activity Director. She brings so much love, laughter, creativity, and joy to our residents, their families, and our entire team. The energy she pours into Royal Oak is felt in every smile, every activity, and every moment of connection she creates.

We are beyond lucky that Shelby chose Royal Oak as her work family. Thank you for all that you do and for being the heart behind so many happy moments. 💛

At Royal Oak our residents are more than residents, they are family.

This handwritten note from a resident thanking our team for their kindness during her time in the hospital truly touched our hearts. Even when our residents are away from our building, they are never away from our care. We're so proud of our team for always showing up with compassion, love, and support, wherever our residents may be.

We’ve been up to all kinds of fun lately! From Wii bowling, bingo, and painting to Walmart outings and penny toss games for prizes, there’s never a dull moment here under the oak 🌳

A huge thank you to Shelly and friends for stopping by to bless us with some fabulous tunes, and to our incredible staff and volunteers who consistently go above and beyond to make each day special.

We’d also like to give a special shoutout to our Activities Team in honor of Activities Professionals Week! Thank you for your dedication, kindness, creativity, and care. The effort you put into ensuring our residents are happy and engaged truly makes a difference, and we appreciate you more than words can say.
