If you’ve had any of these thoughts, know you’re not alone.

Worrying about milk supply, latch, pumping, feeding frequency, or if you’re “doing it right” is incredibly common.
There’s so much noise, so much pressure, and not enough support.

These are some of the most common worries I hear, but they’re only the surface.
Feeding trauma, overwhelm, and self-doubt are real, and they’re more common than you think.

You don’t have to stay stuck in the worry.
If feeding feels stressful, confusing, or harder than you expected, reaching out for support can change everything.
You deserve to feel confident in your journey and you’re never alone in figuring it out.

If you’re ready for real support, I’m here.

Postpartum depression doesn’t always look the way you expect it to.
Sometimes it’s crying all the time.
Sometimes it’s feeling nothing at all.
Sometimes it’s anger, worry, resentment, or a deep sadness you can’t explain.

You’re not broken.
You’re not failing.
And you’re definitely not alone.

If you’re seeing yourself in any of these symptoms, I want you to know: support is available, and it can get better.
You don’t have to stay stuck in it, and you don’t have to figure it out alone.

(If you need a safe place to talk, my messages are always open.)

There’s no one “right” way to breastfeed, and there’s no one “perfect” position.

What works for one baby might not feel right for another.
What feels natural in the early days might change as your baby grows and gets stronger.

The most important thing?
Find what feels comfortable for you and your baby.
Trust your body, trust your instincts, and don’t be afraid to adjust as you both learn together.

(Need help figuring out what’s most comfortable for you? That’s what support is for! Reach out anytime if you’d like personalized feeding guidance.)

As a doula, one of the most important parts of my role is helping you build real confidence; not just by telling you you’re doing great, but by making sure you actually feel supported, informed, and equipped every step of the way.

Motherhood brings a thousand questions, decisions, and new experiences.
It’s easy to doubt yourself, especially when the voices around you get loud.
I’m here to quiet that noise.

To give you real answers, steady encouragement, and the space to find your own way forward - not somebody else’s version of it.

Confidence doesn’t mean never needing help.
It means trusting that you’re the best one for your baby and knowing you have support when you need it.

DOULA — one small word, so much meaning.

A doula is a trained professional who provides emotional, physical, and informational support to families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.
We’re not medical providers.
We’re the steady hand to hold, the calm voice in the chaos, and the reminder that you can do this.

As your doula, I’m here to make sure you never feel like you’re navigating motherhood alone — whether it’s helping you recover after birth, supporting you through feeding challenges, building healthy sleep habits, or simply being the person you can lean on when it’s all a little too much.

Support can be customized to exactly what you need — and you deserve to have someone in your corner.

If you’re preparing for postpartum or feeling overwhelmed in the early months, send me a message. Let’s talk about how I can support you.

Motherhood can feel heavy, and it’s not always obvious where to turn.

Here’s the kind of support I offer for families:

➡️ Postpartum Doula Care: Emotional support, baby care, feeding guidance, and hands-on help so you can rest and recover. (Overnights, daytime)

➡️ Breastfeeding & Feeding Support: Personalized help with latch, milk supply, pumping, combo feeding, or just answering the “is this normal?” questions.

➡️ Sleep Foundations: Gentle, and personalized real-life guidance for setting up healthy sleep habits from the newborn stage and beyond.

➡️ Emotional Support & Space-Holding: A calm presence in the hard moments — because sometimes you just need someone who understands.

If you’re wondering what support is available to you — this is your reminder: You don’t have to do it all alone.
I’m here to walk with you through it.

Send me a message anytime — let’s talk about what support could look like for you.

(Serving Ottawa families with in-home and virtual options.)

Your Body Tells a Story

Nobody really tells you how strange it can feel.
To stand in front of the mirror and not recognize yourself.
To wear maternity leggings months after birth because nothing else fits and not know when, or if, it will feel different.

To cry in a fitting room.
To wonder if you’ll ever feel like yourself again.

It’s not just about clothes.
It’s about feeling comfortable in a body that has been stretched, shifted, softened, and strengthened in ways you can’t measure.

It’s normal to grieve the old you.
It’s normal to want comfort and style and to feel beautiful - without feeling guilty for it.
It’s normal to not know your size.
It’s normal to want more than ‘function’ when you get dressed.

Your body didn’t fail you.
It carried you through.
And you deserve to show up for this version of you, right now. Without waiting to be “done healing” or “back to normal.”

Your body is telling a story of survival, growth, and love.
And that story deserves to be seen, honored, and dressed with pride.

One of the most common worries I hear is:
“How do I know if my baby is getting enough?”

It’s a real fear, and it makes sense.
You can’t see how much milk your baby is taking in, and when everything feels new, it’s easy to second-guess yourself.

The truth is, you don’t have to measure every drop or overthink every feed.
Babies show us they’re getting what they need in so many ways; with their diapers, their weight gain, how they wake and feed, and the way they settle after.

You don’t have to track every little thing.
You don’t have to feel stressed every time you sit down to nurse.

If you’re ever unsure, you’re not failing — you’re learning.
And you’re never alone in figuring it out.

(Save this post to come back to on the hard days — and if you ever need real-time support, my inbox is always open.)

Every Tuesday, I’ll be sharing a new post in my Feeding Foundations series to help you feel more confident, supported, and informed through it all.

Happy International Women’s Day

To the women who uplift, who nurture, who love deeply—we are the heartbeat of our families, the foundation of our communities, the quiet strength that carries generations forward.

As a doula, I witness the raw power of womanhood every single day. The resilience in the moments of exhaustion, the courage in the face of the unknown, the unwavering love that pours out without hesitation. No two of you are the same, yet each of you is an incredible creation, carrying the weight of family, home, and life itself—often without expectation of acknowledgment.

But today, I want to acknowledge you.

For the unseen work. The sacrifices. The love. The strength that doesn’t always get named, but is always felt.

We are powerhouses. We are nurturers. We are forces of nature. And when we rise together, we are unstoppable.

Tag a woman who inspires you. ✨💜

My Story 💕

I know firsthand how overwhelming and exhausting those early weeks can be—the constant second-guessing, the sleepless nights, the pressure to “get it right.” I’ve seen how much of a difference the right support can make, and that’s why I pour everything I have into the families I work with.

It’s the transformation that keeps me going. Seeing parents go from exhausted and unsure to confident and rested. Helping them navigate feeding struggles, newborn sleep, and all the little moments in between. Being the person they can turn to for real, practical support when Google just isn’t cutting it.

This is why I do what I do.

Swipe through to read my journey, and if you’re up for it, I’d love to hear about your postpartum experience in the comments. 💛
