About our speaker:

Anne Dure is a MA graduate student who cares deeply about creating spaces where people feel seen, heard, and supported. She is currently completing her master’s degree in the Couples and Family stream of the Counselling and Spirituality program at Saint Paul University. Her work is inspired by a commitment to making counselling services inclusive, accessible, and responsive to the diverse communities we serve. With empathy and curiosity at the heart of her approach, Anne is passionate about exploring how adultification bias impacts mental health and well-being, and how we can better support those affected by it.

Please welcome our new Child and Adolescent Clinician Sunehra Arif MA who is available to offer psychological assessments and counselling to children and adolescents ages 6-16 supervised by Dr Kimberly Sogge C.Psych.

Sunehra’s supervisor Dr Sogge began her career as a director of Cild, Adolescent and Family Mental Health at the Clara Martin Center in Vermont and has worked as a paediatric and family psychologist at Peterborough Regional Hospital and Alberta Children’s Hospital.

Our Summer 2025 Mindful Self Compassion 8 week foundational course (online or in person) begins this July 10 and runs to August 28 with a wonderful retreat in nature August 18.

This is the UCSD prerequisite course for beginning MSC teacher training taught by a senior certified MSC teacher Dr Kimberly Sogge CPsych and assisted by two Ottawa River Integrative Mental Health clinicians Dr Tripti Jaiswal CPsych and Psychology Fellow Yastika Kamboj MA

The course is open to clinicians and clients alike and is a wonderful experiential introduction to MSC practices for preventing burnout and developing a sustainable and compassionate way of motivating oneself through challenges and pain.
