The Psychotherapy Practice Research Network (PPRNet) is an inter-disciplinary collaboration among psychotherapy clinicians, educators, researchers, knowledge users, and professional organizations. The Psychotherapy Practice Research Network (PPRNet) is a partnership of inter-professional psychotherapy clinicians, researchers, educators, and knowledge users who engage in practice-based psychotherapy research. Our goal is to advance practice-based research that translates into excellence in psychotherapy to improve the wellbeing of our community. The PPRNet is committed to sustaining our community's wellbeing by training the next generation of clinicians and researchers in collaborative practice-based psychotherapy research.

We mourn the passing of our friend and colleague Sue Johnson. The fields of psychotherapy and research have lost a giant. Condolences to Sue’s family.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of Dr. Sue Johnson's passing on April 23, 2024.

Sue's contributions to the world of psychotherapy were enormous. She was a fierce advocate for the power of love and connection in healing and transformation. Sue moved the field of psychotherapy forward through her tireless work, revolutionizing the way we think about relationships, love, attachment, and emotional bonding.

Dr. Sue Johnson will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her legacy will live on in the countless lives and hearts that she touched through her therapy, teachings, and writings. Her impact is far reaching and will continue to be felt for generations to come.

Rest in peace, Sue Johnson. Your light and wisdom will shine on forever.
