🩸 If you feel tired, you should automatically take iron supplements.

✅ Answer: MYTH

Feeling tired doesn’t automatically mean you need iron.

Fatigue can be caused by many things, including:
• Poor sleep
• Stress
• Low vitamin B12
• Thyroid issues
• Dehydration
• Blood sugar imbalances
• Low iron (in some cases)

Taking iron without checking your levels first can actually be harmful, because excess iron can build up in the body and affect organs like the liver.

🩺 The best step: Ask your healthcare provider to check labs such as iron, ferritin, and a complete blood count (CBC) before starting supplements.

💡 Takeaway: Always test before you supplement.
