HALL COUNTY TEMPORARILY SUSPENDS PLANNING COMMISSION

The Hall County Board of Commissioners voted at the Oct. 7 voting meeting to temporarily suspend the Hall County Planning Commission to complete an investigation, effective immediately.

While the suspension is in place, all new and pending planning and zoning applications, including rezoning, special uses, conditional use, permits and/or variance requests scheduled to be heard by the Hall County Planning Commission, will be heard by the Hall County Board of Commissioners to minimize delays in the application process.

Hall County Planning and Zoning staff will be contacting those applicants with active applications to discuss next steps. For questions related to the application process, please contact planning@hallcounty.org.
