In 2015-16 the coalition/SHAC added the Whole Child Whole Community- Healthy, Safe and Secure, Engaged, Supported, Challenged Academically. Dr. Pat Cooper from McCombs Mississippi Model “How to Change the Village.” (2007) The Economic Truth in sequence.
1.If children don’t come to school ready to learn, they won’t finish high school. Then we are judged that the public school system has failed.
2.If the public school system fails, health care, MHMR, correctional systems will fail.
3.If the public school systems fail there will be less skilled workers, less productivity, higher taxes, etc. We have got to change the way we do business in the village!
