Last week we had the privilege of filming a great testimonial with Dr. Elijah Miller, CNOS Orthopaedic Surgeon and his patient JD Scholten. 💪Over 150 CNOS employees participated in the annual 'Maintain Don't Gain' Wellness Challenge! Between November and January, employees are encouraged to team up in groups of 3 to help hold each other accountable in hopes of maintaining their weight during a season filled with treats and holiday get togethers! 💪

Teams not only helped each other maintain healthy habits, but this group as a whole LOST a combined almost 400 pounds- now THAT'S impressive!

Participants were rewarded with a CNOS Wellness 1/4 zip that they can sport around the office and clinics! Thanks to members of our Wellness Committee for helping pass them out this morning to all the well-deserving challenge participants.

🌟 Making a difference for our patients 🌟
This testimonial, “Making a Difference”, features one of our patients here at CNOS and highlights her journey to a better quality of life! 👏
For the months of February/March we are featuring Becky Vardaman, a patient of CNOS Neurosurgeon, Dr. Diaz-Aguilar!

Becky and her husband stay very busy on their acreage in Merrill, Iowa. When she awoke one morning and could barely walk, her daily routine changed. Dr. Diaz-Aguilar calmly explained her options, which led to a spinal surgery and recovery close to home.

Today she is back at it, even riding her beloved horses and walking the dogs, thanks to CNOS – where care next door – makes all the difference. 💙
