⚾ Last week, CNOS proudly teamed up with the Briar Cliff University Doctor of Physical Therapy Program to support the 3A & 4A Iowa State Baseball Tournament - right here in Siouxland!

Over 40 CNOS employees and BCU Physical Therapy students showed up strong, helping host a hospitality tent on the concourse to assist fans and spectators with any medical needs or emergencies. A special shoutout to our incredible athletic training team, who spent the week on the field keeping athletes healthy, safe, and ready to compete at the highest level!

We also want to congratulate Sioux City East High School, Bishop Heelan Catholic High School and Sergeant Bluff-Luton CSD on outstanding seasons and for representing our Siouxland community on the state stage! 👏 👏

Thank you to the Iowa High School Athletic Association for doing an outstanding job hosting the tournament in Sioux City for the first time - and for breaking attendance records while doing it! 🙌

🥎 Hall of Fame Honors for Kayla Tindall! 🥎

Please join us in congratulating CNOS Athletic Trainer Kayla Tindall on her induction into the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union (IGHSAU) Softball Hall of Fame! 👏

A standout at Akron-Westfield CSD, Kayla was a dominant force on the mound, leading the Westerners to four state championships in five years (2010, 2011, 2013, 2014) and finishing her high school career with a 61-2 record, a 0.41 ERA, and 487 strikeouts. She was named Class 1A Pitcher of the Year twice and earned first-team all-state honors multiple times!

Kayla went on to play at Northwestern College, Iowa where she left her mark with six top-five school records (including third for both strikeouts and complete games), 53 career wins, and a powerful presence at the plate.

From championship titles to Hall of Fame recognition, Kayla’s legacy continues to inspire - on the field and now on the sidelines through her work with CNOS athletic training. 💪💙

Fun Fact: Kayla is now one of only 158 players all time to be inducted into the hall of fame and she is the second Akron-Westfield player to receive the honor.

Last week, Nolan Lubarski, Sarah Rol, and Jill Sitzmann had the honor of co-hosting the annual United Way of Siouxland Leadership Awards Luncheon at the South Sioux City Marriott Riverfront!

As chairs of this year’s campaign, CNOS was proud to help emcee the event and recognize the incredible companies that make United Way of Siouxland’s impact possible.

We are ready to roll at the 2025 Iowa 3A and 4A Boys State Baseball Tournament today through the end of the week at the Sioux City Explorers field! CNOS has teamed up with Briar Cliff University Doctor of Physical Therapy Program to host a hospitality tent on the concourse for fans and spectators in case of any medical emergencies or issues. Our trainers will be in the dugouts keeping the players safe and healthy as well. Stop by our tent and say hello and come on out to cheer on these boys! Iowa High School Athletic Association

Yesterday, we were thrilled to co-host the 3rd Annual Siouxland Sports Camp alongside Siouxland Sports Academy and The Miracle League of Sioux City! 🏀🏐⚽⚾💃

Together, we brought a FREE sports camp to over 450 Siouxland youth, giving kids grades K–6 the chance to participate in basketball, volleyball, baseball, soccer, or dance across three awesome locations: The Arena, CNOS Fieldhouse, and the Sioux City Expo Center.

The turnout was incredible - full of energy, excitement, and smiles. Watching our young athletes learn new skills, build confidence, and simply have fun was absolutely priceless! 😃

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this event possible, and to the families who brought their kids out to take part. Our goal was to ensure every child walked away having learned something new, and we’re proud to say, mission accomplished. We hope all the kids enjoyed their free t-shirt, water bottle, and snacks too!

We’re proud to welcome Dr. Daniel Diaz-Aguilar, a fellowship-trained Neurosurgeon, to the CNOS team! 🎉

Dr. Diaz-Aguilar specializes in minimally invasive spine surgery, complex spinal reconstruction, and outpatient spine care, bringing cutting-edge treatments and a patient-centered approach to the Siouxland region. 🥼

A San Diego native, Dr. Diaz-Aguilar earned his Neuroscience degree from Johns Hopkins University and completed both his MD and Neurosurgery Residency at UCLA, where he trained in cranial and spinal surgery, trauma, neuro-oncology, and more.

Dr. Diaz will also offer advanced care for:
