Alchemy is seeking a reliable and proactive Part-Time Virtual Assistant (VA) to provide social media assistance and support to our organization. In this role, you will be responsible for managing various aspects of our social media presence, implementing social media strategies, and engaging with our audience across different platforms.
Responsibilities:
Social Media Management:
•Assist in the planning, scheduling, and publishing of social media content on platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, and Mighty Networks.
•Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries promptly and professionally.
•Engage with the online community by liking, sharing, and commenting on relevant posts from followers, influencers, and industry partners.
•Monitor social media trends, news, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for engagement and growth.
•Maintain a consistent brand voice and ensure content aligns with our organization's values and objectives.
Content Creation and Curation:
•Assist in creating social media content when necessary, including text-based posts, graphics, images, videos, and other multimedia elements.
•Curate and share engaging and industry-relevant content from external sources, ensuring proper attribution and adherence to copyright laws.
•Use creative thinking to suggest new and innovative content ideas that align with our target audience's interests and preferences.
Community Engagement:
•Proactively interact with our social media followers, responding to their comments, questions, and concerns in a timely and helpful manner.
•Foster meaningful connections by engaging in discussions, initiating conversations, and participating in relevant industry groups and communities.
•Identify and engage with influencers, brand advocates, and potential brand ambassadors to extend our reach and visibility.
Requirements:
•Prior experience in social media assistance is preferred.
•Familiarity with various social media platforms, their features, and best practices.
•Proficiency in social media scheduling and management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, etc.).
•Strong written and verbal communication skills, including a good grasp of grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
•Creative thinking and ability to generate engaging content ideas.
Basic graphic design skills and experience with relevant tools (e.g., Canva) is a plus.
•Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
•Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
•Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage and interact with online communities in a professional and friendly manner.
•Willing to work night shifts.
