We are so blessed to have these ladies on the Spurgeon Community team. Each day they provide opportunities for the residents and tenants to engage in spiritual, physical, social, and intellectual activities. ✨ Giving Tuesday at Spurgeon Senior Community ✨
Today, we join millions around the world in celebrating the joy of giving and the impact it makes right here at home.
This year, we are focusing our Giving Tuesday efforts on a critical piece of medical equipment: a new bladder scanner for our nursing team. Our current scanner has reached the end of its useful life, and replacing it is essential to providing safe, dignified, and compassionate care for our residents.
A new bladder scanner will allow our nurses to:
• Assess residents quickly and comfortably
• Prevent unnecessary catheter use and reduce infection risk
• Support timely clinical decisions
• Maintain the high standard of care our community depends on
