✨ Meet the Team: Carly✨
Carly is one of our newest O&P residents. She brings positive energy, knowledge, and humor to our patients and clinics. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of South Alabama, where she also played soccer ⚽, and earned her Master’s in Orthotics and Prosthetics from the International Institute of O&P in 2024. We’re excited to have her on the Buckner team! 💙

Gates is provides compassionate care and builds strong relationships with his patients at our Jackson and Vicksburg clinics. He completed his Master’s in Orthotics and Prosthetics at Northwestern Feinberg School of Medicine and his residency here at Buckner Prosthetics. He has a special interest in pet prosthetics and pediatric care, and loves helping patients return to active lifestyles. Outside the clinic, Gates enjoys hunting, college football, and spending time with his wife and daughter. 💙

Every step Ms. Cassandra takes carries the love and legacy of her family. 🩷Her prosthetic socket features a photo of her late grandmother, Ms. Pearlie Woods Davis, who lived to be 102 years old, along with the names of her 3 children, 8 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. 💐A beautiful reminder that family, love, and legacy walk with her every step of the way. 🦿

Charlotte’s Story 🌟

After being diagnosed with osteosarcoma near her knee joint, Charlotte faced an incredible challenge with bravery and grace. Under the skilled hands of Dr. Jennifer Barr and her team at UMMC Orthopaedic Surgery and Rehab, she underwent the first-ever Rotationplasty operation in Mississippi’s medical history.

Throughout her recovery, Charlotte and her family have shown unwavering strength, positivity, and resilience. Today, she’s back to doing what she loves — running, jumping, playing tennis, and living life to the fullest!
