What a beautiful week of celebrations and sweet reunions here at The Grove on Forest Lane! 🎉❤️

We had the absolute joy of celebrating LaVern’s 91st birthday this evening, surrounded by friends, laughter, and lots of love. But the celebration didn’t stop there… because just yesterday, her best friend of over 70 years, Mrs. Pat, officially moved in!

After a lifetime of shared memories, raising families, and supporting one another through the years, these two dear friends are now living under the same roof again. Seeing them together—smiling, reminiscing, and holding hands—reminds us exactly why community matters so much.

For their adult children, this reunion brings an incredible sense of comfort and peace of mind. Knowing their moms are not only safe and cared for, but also have each other for daily companionship, security, and friendship, is truly priceless. There’s something so special about watching lifelong bonds continue to grow in a place filled with support, warmth, and love.

At our community, we celebrate life every day—birthdays, friendships, milestones, and new beginnings. And when someone moves in, we make it extra special with our signature WOW Dinner—a warm welcome celebration where families gather, share a delicious meal, and create beautiful new memories together.

Here’s to 91 years of a life well lived, 70+ years of friendship, and many more moments to celebrate ahead. 💐🎂

What a joyful start to the year we’ve had here at The Grove on Forest Lane💛

We kicked things off by celebrating Valentine’s Day — a holiday that means so much to our seniors. It’s not just about romance; it’s about love in all its forms — friendships, family, kindness, and connection. Seeing residents exchange sweet notes, share treats, and spend time together reminds us that love truly grows stronger with age.

We also brought the energy and color with our Mardi Gras celebration! Mardi Gras is a time of joy, music, tradition, and coming together before the Lenten season. From festive beads to themed treats and lively entertainment, our residents embraced the spirit of celebration and had an absolute blast! 💜💚💛

One of the best parts of community living is the friendships that blossom here. Our residents genuinely care for one another — they laugh together, check in on each other, share meals, and build meaningful bonds every single day. There’s always someone to sit with, someone to talk to, and someone to enjoy an activity with.

We encourage everyone not to stay in their apartments — come out and enjoy the delicious food, refreshing drinks, engaging entertainment, games, music, and all the wonderful events happening right here at home! There’s something on the calendar for everyone, and the smiles we see at each gathering say it all.

And we’re just getting started! We’re looking forward to celebrating St. Patrick’s Day with a little extra luck and lots of fun, followed by a beautiful Easter celebration filled with hope, renewal, and togetherness. 🌷

What a wonderful day out with our amazing residents yesterday!☀️

This week, we enjoyed a fantastic outing to El Fenix where we soaked up the beautiful weather, shared delicious food, and spent meaningful time together outside the community. So many residents joined in on the fun that we had to take two trips to make sure everyone could come along!

There was so much laughter around the table and plenty of great conversations. It’s always special to see friendships grow as neighbors get to know each other even better beyond our community walls. These outings are such a wonderful way to connect, make memories, and simply enjoy the day together.

We’re already looking forward to our next lunch outing at Luby’s! If you’d like to attend, be sure to sign up — we’d love for you to join us for another fun afternoon of food, friendship, and fellowship. 💛
