Today’s Good Friday service, along with some wonderful entertainment, was truly heartfelt—a beautiful reminder of God’s love and grace.
Here are a few pictures to share but we were especially touched watching three gentlemen, friends for over 50 years, sharing laughter and memories. From stories about classic cars and the restaurant business to reminiscing about their sons and daughters, their bond filled the room with warmth and joy.
One story that stood out was about a beloved Greek mother whose wisdom shaped so much of their lives. Though English wasn’t her first language, she taught powerful lessons through simple words and actions—reminding her children that the strongest words are often the ones spoken with emotion, and that kindness, prayer, and empathy should guide us every day. Her love, rooted deeply in her Greek heritage, left a lasting impact.
Moments like these remind us how meaningful friendship, family, and especially a mother’s love truly are. The love we carry for our children and the lessons passed down through generations are something shared and cherished by so many in our senior living community like The Grove on Forest Lane
Today was filled with reflection, laughter, and love—and we are so grateful to share these moments together. 💛
