Gluten is known to be an inflammatory ingredient. Some tolerate it just fine, but others aren't so lucky. Recognizing a gluten intolerance can be difficult because it may not appear immediately after ingestion. Trying a gluten-free diet, even just for a short time, can give many benefits, including reducing bloating and digestive symptoms as well as increasing energy.

Recognizing how often you consume gluten is the first step to trying an elimination diet. Next, try increasing gluten-free snacks.

Poor gut health has been linked to a number of health conditions including poor immunity, anxiety, depression, dementia, and even obesity.

Though these steps may feel over-simplified, I would argue that they're not simple enough...

At its core, all of these steps focus on this: More of the good, less of the bad.

So yes, while this may be easier said than done, taking steps to improve your gut health is the key to balanced hormones and overall health.

That means that even taking small steps (or doing more "good") means you're moving in the right direction to better health, even if you haven't mastered every step.
