Seroma drainage: A seroma is a fluid-filled pocket that may appear in the abdomen after surgery. The fluid ranges from clear to partially bloody. Seromas can sometimes be prevented and treated with Manual Lymphatic Drainage, however in some cases the fluid buildup is excessive and has to be drained with a needle. If you feel as though you have an excessive amount of fluid build up after surgery and possibly have a seroma, contact Brickhouse MedSpa for a consultation and we’ll get you taken care of.
