Rev. Robert Earl Williams, a minister, barber, horticulturist, and chef, passed away on April 16, 2026, at the age of 80. He accepted Christ at an early age. His life was a testament to perseverance, purpose and a deep commitment to Christ.
Bill, as the family lovingly nicknamed him, was the 11th child born January 27, 1946, to Thomas and Louella Lane Williams in Center, Texas. He attended all 12 grades of school at C.H. Daniels, graduating in 1966 with his high school diploma. After graduation, he attended Texas College in Tyler, Texas graduating with an Associate Degree in Psychology and English in 1968.
His journey did not stop there. On Easter Sunday, April 19, 1997, he was called to the ministry. He became one of God’s most prolific speakers with his testimonies and bible knowledge.
Robert (Bill) is survived by his daughter, Shemeika and son, Christopher, one grandson, Traelon, three brothers, three sisters, and many other friends and relatives.
