As most of us were, we were so sadden to hear about DYC deciding to close this summer, but we’re happy to offer a new home to our fellow yogis from DYC. Want to know the secret to easily improve your mood in minutes? Practice gratitude ✨

Practicing gratitude is one of the easiest ways to shift your energy for low and blah back to happy, energized, and optimistic. It’s easy for us to be down on ourselves or let stress and overwhelm rule our lives, and in those moments, the best way to pull yourself out quickly is to list out what you’re grateful for. A simple yet powerful exercise to bring you back to a high vibrational state.

All you need to do is take a minute to create a gratitude list. List out at least 5 things you’re grateful for each day to keep your energy focused on all the good in your life rather than the stressful and challenging. Our gratitude list for the day is:
✨ We are grateful for our country’s freedom and independence
✨ We are grateful for time to spend with family and friends over the holiday
✨ We are grateful to have health bodies that enable us to be active
✨ We are grateful for our community and the amazing people who fill our classes each day
✨ We are grateful for this beautiful day and the sunshine that helps our plants grow
