April 6th, 2023
The moon is in Virgo and moves into Libra in the early afternoon. The earthy, feminine energy directed towards the self switches to airy, masculine energy directed towards others. In Virgo we have devised and begun to build things with our hands, and in Libra, we bring others into the mix. Remember what is important to you, however, as we want to share our power, rather than give it all away.
The nakshatra is Chitra, whose symbol is a faceted gem. This place which bridges Virgo and Libra is where we refine and beautify the things we have manifested with input from others. Things really become alive when we share them. Chitra is ruled by Mars, so there is a lot of energy that is possible.
The tithi is Krishna Pratipat, the first lunar day of the waning moon. The term Krishna here refers to the moon becoming darker, as Lord Krishna is dark in hue. It is considered a nanda tithi, or one that brings happiness. It is presided over by Brahma, the Lord of Creation. This is a great day to begin new projects, especially so with the moon in Chitra.
It is Thursday, ruled by Jupiter. Jupiter is about to leave its own sign of Pisces (on April 22), so use these last few weeks to understand that the greatest knowledge is knowing that eventually we must let go of everything in this world. This is meant to be a liberating concept, not one that holds us back. With the creation energy of the nakshatra and tithi, think about moving forward without unnecessary baggage and carry on with only the most beautiful things you want to have in your life.
