Research shows that oral health is far more than a cosmetic concern—it’s deeply connected to long-term brain function.

For years, oral decline was viewed as a result of dementia, not a contributor. But emerging evidence suggests the relationship runs both ways.

Even small, chronic dental issues may quietly influence inflammation and cognitive health over time.

Your mouth and brain are in constant conversation—keep both healthy by caring for one. 🧠🦷

Your oral health affects your future kids more than you think.

When I sat down with Dr. Derek Gatta from , we talked about how important it is for women to get their mouth and microbiome healthy before pregnancy.

And one study I mentioned? Women who chewed xylitol gum during pregnancy had children with fewer cavities. Your habits literally help shape their oral health.

A healthy mouth supports a healthier start for your baby — long before they’re even here.

✨ You deserve more than cleanings and cavities.
Real oral health starts with your lifestyle, not just a chair in a dental office.

This is the heart of the Oral Health Revolution — helping you take back control of your mouth, your health, and your future.

💥 FLUORIDE ISN’T A NUTRIENT.
I said what I said.

In my conversation with (Eyes Wide Open podcast), we talked about something most people never hear from their dentist: fluoride isn’t essential for cavity protection. It’s not a vitamin. It’s not a nutrient. It’s more like a band-aid placed over deeper issues.

Your body was built to repair, remineralize, and thrive. You just need the right tools — not toxic ones.

Most people are brushing with chemical soup every day — and wondering why their gums are inflamed. 🧪
Your toothpaste should support your microbiome, not strip it.
Let’s clean smarter.

You’d be shocked how much you can heal when you treat the cause, not the symptom.

If fluoride were the answer, we wouldn’t have an epidemic of cavities.
There’s a better way.

We’ve built a whole practice around it.

Let’s talk about how your body was forged to heal— and how deeply that impacts your baby’s ability to heal too.

Over years of bodywork in his family clinic, John has observed that babies can only get as well as mom is.

When we see infants in the office with oral ties, both mom and baby receive bodywork, and it’s incredible to witness the transformation.

You can literally see the shift — the calm, the connection, and the peace that baby leaves with.

😮‍💨 Mouth breathing can change your child’s jaw.

When I sat down with on Eyes Wide Open, we talked about something most parents never hear: kids who mouth breathe can actually shift their jaw and facial development over time.

The good news? Kids are incredibly adaptable. When we support nasal breathing early, their jaw can grow the way it was meant to — and their airway, sleep, and overall health improve right along with it.

Healthy breathing matters more than most people realize.

They say the flat earth theory might actually be easier to digest than some of the conversations at this conference 😄 — and honestly, that’s part of what made it so incredible.

Some topics stretched our minds, some stretched our comfort zones, and all of them invited deeper curiosity. That blend of open-mindedness, intuition, and grounded dialogue made for such a powerful experience.
From Canada to Florida, Atlanta to California, this event brought together a community of thoughtful, heart-led practitioners we were honored to learn from and connect with.

And the food? Organic, intentional, and absolutely delicious. 🌿

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth — and to the Healing for the A.G.E.S. team for giving Dr. Engram the opportunity to share the stage.

We’re already counting down the days until next year’s event!

Who was your favorite speaker this year?

🗣️ Story time.
A young girl came to me for a second opinion after being told she had “a bunch of cavities.”
We looked. We checked.
There was nothing there.

I truly hope this doesn’t become a trend — where dentistry turns into a money chase instead of patient care. People deserve honesty, not fear-based treatment plans.

Most people never think about what their dental work is made of — but the materials placed in your mouth can impact your entire body for years.
At Flourish Dental Boutique, we practice biocompatible dentistry — a safer, smarter approach that honors your biology.

That means no mercury, no heavy metals, no BPA... Just materials that work with your body, not against it.

We even offer compatibility testing for patients with chronic illness, sensitivities, or those detoxing from past dental work — because your mouth is the gateway to your gut, brain, and immune system.

Your body deserves dental care that supports healing at every level. 💚

🧪 Mouthwash isn’t as harmless as you think.
In my live with Dr. Brandon Bright, we talked about how most mouthwash wipes out the good and bad bacteria — and for people with blood pressure issues, that can actually make things worse.
Sometimes the “healthy” products cause the biggest problems.
