Hi beautiful people! My name is Sana and I am the owner of ASPIRE Speech and language therapy. I’ve been a speech pathologist for a wee bit of time and I always knew that going into the field of business was everything I wanted to do since I graduated.
I did my clinical fellow in a private practice in Queens, NY and instantly fell in love with the flexibility, fast pace, and vast differences of population I got to treat.
A bit has changed since my clinical fellow, for one, I went from an EAST COAST GYAL to a southern belle and moved to Texas!!! Never in a million years did I think that I would be living in Texas so I decided to do things that I would say “ never in a millions years would I be able to do that”. Which leads me to this full circle of me saying yes to things that I may have limited myself from thinking I couldn’t do it, only realizing the world is my oyster and anything given time and attention to will flourish at the right time.
I love to inspire other SLP’s with suggestions that make my job easier hoping to make it easier for those on the same journey as me.
I love sharing parts of my day and ways to empower parents who are doing their best in supporting their babies and bridging the gap with communication. I also enjoy growing with all the wonderful SLP’s and educators on the gram that motivate creativity, inspiration, and friendship. Thankful for this little community ❤️

What if we spoke about all characteristics we loved about a child to them? What if we let them be exactly who they are and engulf them with love? What if we embrace their imperfections and told them they could achieve anything they wanted? Do the children you see feel seen? Do they light up when you walk into a room?

We are born with a blank slate and hearing words about you as a child is what sticks. If someone tells you that you are hard working, chances are that you will continue to work hard to fulfill that as your “identity. If someone told you that you are mean, you might believe it as a child and then continue to feed into what you heard someone call you. Filters are not only for Instagram- allow yourself to have a filter when around little ones that are waiting to hear anything about them to fulfill their indenting. Have them feel seen, heard, and loved.
