The medical office of Dr. Samuel P. Marynick is seeking a smart, enthusiastic, hardworking RN. The practice includes the Texas Center for Reproductive Health and general endocrinology. The successful candidate for this full-time position must possess excellent communication and organizational skills. Positive attitude, attention to detail, strong work ethic, and the ability to multi-task are key.

Ideal candidate should desire a long term commitment as a 2 year contract will be required.The RN should be skilled in taking patient histories and educating patients. The nurse will also need to assess vital signs, calculate medication dosages, perform venipuncture, administer injections, start IVs, perform sonograms, and assist in the interpretation of sonograms.

This position will assist in all aspects of daily practice tasks such as prior authorizations, pulling/filing charts, scheduling appointments, refilling medications, setting up for procedures, and cleaning equipment.

'Fertile Yoga' Reduces Stress And Increases Hopefulness In Women Undergoing Fertility Treatment

A study of 55 women who practiced "fertile yoga" found the women experienced decreased sadness, decreased stress, and increased hopefulness.

Fertile yoga is a specific type of yoga where women who are trying fertility treatments practice two techniques. Quoted from the article, the two specific techniques are:

1. A one-minute mantra: “I am strong, healthy, resilient, hopeful, capable and fertile.”

2. Seven movements of the spine like forwarding flexion, backbend extension, lateral left bend, and lateral right bend, left rotation twist, right rotation twist, and axial extension.
